Welcome to Westlawn School Library!

Westlawn Library Media Center operates on a flexible schedule for grades 2-5 and a fixed schedule for kindergarten and first grade. Special Education classes are encouraged to mainstream if possible. Children check out books for one week and may renew their book(s) for an additional week. Library hours are 8:35 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. Monday - Thursday and 8:35 - 12:00 on Friday. Afternoons on Friday are reserved for maintenance and repair of our school computers.

The mission of our library media program is to enable individuals to become information literate and effective lifelong readers. Our program provides educational and technological opportunities to students and staff in keeping with their needs and abilities. It is the goal of our library media program to ensure that students and staff are effective users of ideas and information and to encourage leisure use of worthwhile materials.
