A big Westlawn tiger roar goes out to Mrs. Michelle Nelson, Reading Coach for being selected as one of ten Metro-Mobile Reading Council Outstanding Reading Teachers for 2009. Metro Mobile Reading Council is the local chapter of Alabama Reading Association and the International Reading Association.

Mrs. Nelson along with other Outstanding Reading Teachers will and the Outstanding Principal for the Metro Mobile Reading Council (MMRC) received a special and deserving honor on Thursday, September 17th held at University of South Alabama, College of Education.
